The experiment was set up on June 15, 2021 on the Red Cardinal variety at the faculty experimental site Mandićevac. Uniform pairs from 1 to 10, labeled T (treatment) and K (control), were selected and thus compared in the experiment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of ringing on the yield and on the most important indicators of must quality (sugar content, total acidity, and pH value). The ringing of the vine was done at the end phase of flowering, with a scalpel and scissors, and the part of the bark, ranging from 2 to 4 mm, was removed. Through statistical analysis, we found that ringing has no effect on the yield per vine and the sugar content in the must, while it has a highly significant and significant effect on the pH value and the total acidity of the must. |
