Popis: | Završni rad prikazuje aktualno stanje CRISPR/Cas9 tehnologije, osnovne postavke i principe uzgoja u sustavu vertikalnih farmi te njihovu interakciju u vidu pregleda objavljenih znanstvenih istraživanja uređivanja genoma CRISPR/Cas9 tehnologijom u svrhu dobivanja usjeva naj pogodnih za vertikalni sustav uzgoja. Detaljnije, u radu su prikazane prednosti, tehnički i legalni problemi, osnove načina funkcioniranja te moguće implikacije CRISPR/Cas9 tehnologije, zajedno sa ključnim detaljima funkcioniranja vertikalnih farmi. Zbog dostupnosti literature, primjena CRISPR/Cas9 tehnologije u svrhu određivanja fenotipa sa svojstvima pogodnim za vertikalni uzgoj uvelike je prikazana na usjevima voća porodice Solanaceae (rajčica). BSc thesis presents the current state of CRISPR/Cas9 technology, basic elements of vertical farming production systems and their interaction in form of reviews of credible published research literature on topic of application of CRISPR/Cas9 technology in purpose of creating most favorable crops for vertical farming production systems. More specifically, this BSc thesis presents advantages, technical and legal problems, mechanism fundamentals and possible implications of CRISPR/Cas9 technology, together with key operating details of vertical farming systems. Because of the limited literature availability, application of the CRISPR/Cas9 technology in purpose of phenotype determination most suitable for vertical farming, is mostly presented on fruit crops of the Solanaceae family (tomato). |
