The Codex XV (13) of Verona Capitular Library was seriously damaged by the chemicals used in the nineteenth century by palaeographers. Today, the method of acquisition and subsequent processing of digital gigapixel images (Multispectral Images RGB/UV/IR) allows to separate and to recover the different scriptures overlapping in the Veronese Code, reaching to a "digital restoration" of the precious manuscript. In this paper are analyzed the sheets 29v (that contains Gaius Institutes 1, 180) and 33r (that contains Gaius Institutes 3, 131). At the end of the multispectral analysis of Codex XV (13) , some corrections to Studemund's apograph are proposed which lead to a new editorial proposal of the fragments examined. |
