We investigated the effect of five different diets and three volumes on the culture of Paracentrotus lividus larve (Echinodermata:Echinoidea), in controlled conditions. Larvae survivorship was proved to depend on the culture parameters applied. 1600 litre volumes and Nannochloropsis salina - Chaetoceros calcitrans diet produced more morphologically typical larvae and gave better results in terms of survivorship at metamophosis. |
