Popis: In Italy, this participated revision process of the European Treaties started with the Government itself taking a stance for the European reforms, through an informal document called “non-paper”, available online. The Government made itself abundantly clear about being in favor of a substantial revision of the European Treaties. To comply with the mission of having Italian citizens’ voice heard, the Italian Government established two temporary bodies dedicated to amplifying the European invitation to join the double track CoFoE and especially the online platform, since the panels were directly established at European level. This governance framework was created by Decrees of the Head of Government establishing a Scientific Committee for the Future of Europe, an Organizational Committee - co-chaired and co-managed by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the European Policies Department – and a Technical Secretariat.
