Attitudes of Students and Teachers Towards a Model of Education in Vukovar

Popis: Odgoj i obrazovanje pripadnika nacionalnih manjina provodi se na temelju tri modela organiziranja i provoĊenja nastave (model A, model B, model C). Uĉenici pripadnici srpske manjinske zajednice u gradu Vukovaru se školuju prema A modelu obrazovanja pripadnika nacionalnih manjina. Provedenim istraţivanjem Stavovi učenika i nastavnika prema modelu obrazovanja u Vukovaru se pokazalo da uĉenici općenito imaju pozitivne stavove prema zajedniĉkom obrazovanju s uĉenicima druge nacionalnosti. Prevladavaju mišljenja uĉenika koji smatraju da se razredi ne bi trebali dijeliti prema nacionalnosti, da bi se nastava za razliĉite nacionalnosti trebala provoditi u istim smjenama i istim školama te da im nebi smetalo da s njima u klupi sjedi pripadnik/ca druge nacionalnosti. Stoga se više od polovice uĉenika izjašnjava pozitivno s obzirom na ţelju pohaĊanja nastave zajedno s pripadnicima/cama drugih nacionalnosti (53,8%). TakoĊer se pokazalo da većina nastavnika ima pozitivne stavove prema predavanju uĉenicima druge nacionalnosti te o zajedniĉkom obrazovanju uĉenika pripadnika manjiskog stanovništva i uĉenika pripadnika većinskog stanovništva.
Education of national minority members is running through three models (Model A, Model B, Model C). Students from Serbian minority community in Vukovar are educated through Model A for minority education. Results from research Attitudes of students and teachers towards a model of education in Vukovar shows that students have generally positive attitudes towards common education as well as students of other nationalities. Most of the students opinions consider that classes should not be separated depending on nationality, and that teaching should be conducted in the same shifts and schools, they also would not be bothered to be together in classes with members of other nationalities. Therefore, more than half of the students agree to attend classes together with other nationalities (53.8%). It is also showed that most of teachers have positive attitudes toward teaching students of other nationalities and to the common education of students of the minority population and students of the majority population.
