Popis: Cilj je rada objasniti Geoinformacijski sustav, potres kao elementarnu nepogodu kao i utjecaj potresa na Geoinformacijski sustav. Tema je obrađena samostalno i stručno na temelju navedene literature, a projekt je napravljen pomoću QGIS programa. Najprije su obrađene osnove Geoinformacijskog sustava, kartografija i upotreba karata. Zatim slijedi obrada potresa, zakonske regulative prilikom obnove nakon potresa te prikaz raznih uređaja za mjerenje koji se koriste prilikom terenskih istraživanja. U posljednjem je poglavlju napravljen katastar urušnih vrtača u selu Mečenčani, obrada tih podataka te analiza najbližih stanovnika kojom smo utvrdili udaljenost urušnih vrtača od najbližih stambenih objekata The purpose of thesis is to explain the Geoinformation System, the earthquake as a natural disaster and the impact of earthquakes on the Geoinformation System. The topic was processed independently and professionally based on the cited literature, and the project was created using the QGIS program. First, the basics of the Geoinformation system and cartography and the use of maps are discussed. This is followed by earthquake processing, legal regulations during post-earthquake reconstruction and various measuring devices that can be used during field research. In the last chapter, a cadastre of collapsing sinkholes in the village of Mečenčani was made, the same data were processed, and an analysis of the nearest residents was made, which allowed the determination of the distance of collapsing sinkholes from the nearest residential buildings.
