Bitnu ulogu u razvoju ima okruženje u kojem dijete živi jer ukoliko je pedagoški kvalitetno oblikovano dijete će moći iskoristiti svoj potencijal. Suvremeno shvaćanje djeteta i djetinjstva opisuje dijete kao kompetentno, aktivno, sposobno i kreativno. Odrastanje u suvremenom svijetu obilježeno je i dostupnošću raznih medija koji su sastavni dio njihova odrastanja. Naime, današnja djeca susreću se s raznim medijima gotovo od rođenja. Posljedice novog načina života kod djece predškolske dobi su uočljive, što svakodnevno svjedoče odgojitelji i stručni suradnici. U ranoj dobi veći dio vremena provedu ispred ekrana i uglavnom je to gledanje crtića, edukativne igre, slušanje pjesmica i slično, a s vremenom se proširuje sadržaj i vrijeme boravka ispred ekrana. At an early age, he spent most of his time in front of the screen and it was mostly watching cartoons, educational games, listening to songs and the like, and over time the content and time spent in front of the screen expanded. |
