Popis: | UVOD: Kirurške infekcije po učestalosti javljanja čine oko 33% svih bolničkih infekcija. Kirurške infekcije jesu najčešća poslijeoperativna komplikacija. Iz tih razloga predstavljaju velik javnozdravstveni i ekonomski problem za zdravstveni sustav. CILJ RADA: Svodi se na prikazivanje preventivnih postupaka koje svakodnevno provode medicinske sestre na odjelima kirurške djelatnosti, a s ciljem prevencije nastanka infekcije kirurškog mjesta. RASPRAVA: Medicinska sestra može doprinijeti prevenciji infekcija kirurškog mjesta ukoliko primjenjuje sve propisane standardne operativne postupke za prevenciju infekcija kirurškog mjesta. Prevencija kirurških infekcija uključuje niz mjera koje možemo podijeliti na preoperativne, intraoperativne i postoperativne. ZAKLJUČAK: Nužno je kontinuirano ulaganje napora zdravstvenih djelatnika, ali i redovite objave novih saznanja kako bi se smanjio broj infekcija kirurških mjesta. INTRODUCTION: Surgical infections make up almost about 33% of all hospital infections. Surgical site infections are the most common postoperative complication. For these reasons, they pose a major public health and economic problem for the health system. THE AIM (OF THIS THESIS): It comes down to the presentation of preventive procedures carried out daily by nurses on surgical wards, with the aim of preventing the occurrence of surgical site infection. DISCUSSION: The nurse may contribute to the prevention of surgical site infections, if she applies all prescribed standard operating procedures for the prevention of surgical site infections. Prevention of surgical infections involves a number of measures that we can divide into preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative. CONCLUSION: It is necessary to continuously invest in the efforts of healthcare professionals, as well as regular publication of new findings in order to reduce the number of surgical site infections. |
