Popis: This Bachelor degree paper is covering the topic “Tertiary education in Scandinavia”. In the given paper it is going to be proven that education in Scandinavia is successful using statistical measures and innovation rankings. Scandinavian countries are being analyzed by using different rates that measure the quality, availability and success of education. Employment Rates of Recent Graduates are used in order to see whether the education provides necessary skills to find job, Gross Enrollment Ratio serves as model that shows whether the capacity of university is being used efficiently and the rate of Government expenditure per student is used in order to see the level of government support and enrollment in education. Analysis and comparison of data will be conducted using two methods. First method is Base Index calculation. BI calculation is used in order to see the changes in values in accordance to the base year or first year period. Second method that is being used is Chain Index calculation. CI is used to compare the data on yearly basis. CI is measuring the change in value from one year in accordance to the previous year. Lastly World rankings for innovation will be mentioned in order to see which country is the most innovative in education, what are its inventions and to determine future education trends.
