Uredbom o proglašenju Regionalnog parka Mura-Drava čitav tok rijeke Mure i Drave zaštićen u kategoriji Regionalnoga parka, sukladno Zakonu o zaštiti prirode. The Decree on the Proclamation of the Mura-Drava Regional Park protects the entire course of the Mura and Drava rivers in the category of a Regional Park, in accordance with the Nature Protection Act. At the same time, the NW part of Croatia in which the research area has been selected within the Regional Park, agricultural production is very intensive and can be defined as one of the most dominant impacts on various aspects of the environment. The hypothesis of the paper is that land and environmental management in general within and outside the Regional Park affects the quality of surface waters. In the period December 2021-April 2022, surface water samples were collected and the ionic composition of surface waters from open watercourses inside and outside the Regional Park at three selected locations (Drava, Bednja, Plitvica) was determined. The results of the research showed that land management measures affect water quality and that the water quality of the Drava River in the sampling period is higher compared to the Bednja and Plitvice rivers. |
