Defining the relationship between Zagreb city lakes and the Sava river

Popis: U diplomskom radu prikazan je utjecaja rijeke Save na vodostaj jezera Jarun i Savica. U analizama su korišteni podatci vodostaja Save s dvije mjerne postaje na području Grada Zagreba kao i podaci o vodostajima jezera prikupljeni automatskim mjeračima. Podatci su prikupljani u razdoblju od 07.04.2022. do 26.05.2022. godine. Za definiranje odnosa rijeke Save i jezera korištene su statističke metode korelacije, linearna regresija i kroskorelacija. Metode korelacije i linearne regresije ukazuju na slabu vezu Save i Jaruna i kao i slabu vezu Save i Savice. Metodom kroskorelacije dobiveni su kroskorelogrami iz kojih je vidljivo da rijeka Sava utječe na promjenu vodostaja Jaruna sa zaostatkom od 85 sati. S druge strane, rijeka Sava nema utjecaj na vodostaj jezera na Savici.
The thesis presents the impact of the Sava River on the water level of Lakes Jarun and Savica. The analyzes used data on the water level of the Sava with two measuring stations in the City of Zagreb, as well as data on the water levels of the lake collected by logers. Data were collected in the period from 07.04.2022. to 05.26.2022. Statistical methods of correlation, linear regression and cross-correlation were used to define the relationship between the Sava River and the lakes. The methods of correlation and linear regression indicate a weak connection between the Sava and the Jarun, as well as a weak connection between the Sava and the Savica lakes. Cross-correlation methods were used to obtain cross-correlograms, which show that the Sava River influences the change in the water level of the Jarun with a lag of 85 hours. On the other hand, the Sava River has no effect on the water level of the Savica lakes.
