Aim of this work was to evaluate on the sediments pH, V, Cr, Ni, Cu, Cd, Pb, Fe, Zn and Mn, organic and inorganic C, N contents, in five sites along the Volturno river (Campania region): V1 before the Calore affluent confluence, VO1, VO2, VO3 (Oasi Salicelle-Lagnone), V2 after dam, around 8 km from the mouth. Results evidenced that the contents of the most trace elements assayed were higher in the Oasis sites than the others. |
