Popis: | The paper deals with some interpolations in three later manuscripts of the Commentationes in centum sententiis Ptolemaei by I. Pontanus. The passages of Pontanus’ commentary interpolated by scribes have a close relationship with Abū Maʽšar’s theory of the ʽGreat conjunctionsʼ of Saturn and Jupiter. The Appendix provides an edition and an Italian translation of Pontanus’ Latin translation and commentary on Ptolemy’s Καρπός 64 Boer. |
