Modelling of FACTS devices in transmission networks for power flow computation

Popis: Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada je opisati FACTS uređaje, dati teorijski prikaz raznih tehnologija i izvedbi koje postoje. Na početku rada opisani su poremećaji koji mogu nastati u prijenosnoj mreži, o čemu ovise i kako se predviđaju. Osim FACTS uređaja opisan je i visokonaponski istosmjerni prijenos, te koje su njegove prednosti i mane. Prikazana je podjela na osnovu načina spajanja serijskih i paralelnih komponenti, te njihovoj kombinaciji. Detaljnije su objašnjeni Statički Var kompenzator, Statički sinkroni kompenzator i Unificirani regulator protoka snage. Za Statički Var kompenzator i Unificirani regulator protoka snage odrađena je simulacija u program DIgSILENT PowerFactory 15.1. Prikazani su rezultati za sustav prije i nakon kompenzacije. Također, prikazane su naponske promjene na sabirnici i promjene u tokovima snaga The task of this thesis is to describe FACTS devices and to give a theoretical overview of existing technologies and performances. At the beginning of the paper, disturbances that can occur in the transmission network are described. In addition to the FACTS devices, high-voltage DC transmission is also described, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. The division is presented based on the method of connecting serial and shunt components, and their combination is presented. Static Var compensator, Static synchronous compensator and Unified power flow controller are explained in more detail. For Static Var compensator and Unified power flow controller, a simulation was performed in the program DIgSILENT PowerFactory 15.1, The results of teh simulation for the system before and after compensation are shown. Also, voltage changes on the bus and changes in power flows are shown.
