Popis: Pored roditelja u dječjem životu veliku ulogu igraju i odgojitelji koji poticajnim okruženjem svakodnevno potiču cjelokupan razvoj djeteta, pomažući mu razvijati i pozitivnu sliku o sebi. In addition to parents, preschool teachers also have an important role in children's lives, helping children to develop a positive image of themselves. Childhood is a period when children gradually learn who they are, what they are, what they like and what they don't, what they are afraid of, what entertains them and what is not really fun for them. In preschool, the child begins to show an interest in the people around them, their parents, siblings and friends. For all those who have some role in their life, they begin to be interested not only in them as an individual but also in their feelings and emotions. Research shows that a positively developed image in early childhood, self-confidence is one of the predictors of a child's success in school age. The aim of this study was to research what image early and preschool children have of themselves. The study involved 20 children aged between 4 and 5,5. The research followed the Code of Ethics for research with children and conducted interviews with children in kindergarten.
