At the southwestern slopes of Mt. Medvednica, near the bus terminal Dubravica, argilaceous limestones occur. They comprise rich marine microfossil assemblage, including foraminifers, ostracods, bivalves, gastropods, scaphopods, sponges, echinoids, bryozoans and fish remains. Depositional environment is presumed as the middle shelf, around 50 m deep. Considering the mode of preservation, shallow- marine and open sea fauna was mixed, probably during some severe storms. Age is estimated as the Badenian.
