Elemental analysis of Japanese cherry blossom (C. Yedoensis L.) by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry

Popis: U uzorcima cvjetova ljekovite biljke japanske trešnje (C. Yedoensis L.) provedena je elementna analiza metodom atomske emisijske spektrometrije uz induktivno spregnutu plazmu (ICP-AES) i spektrometrijom masa uz induktivno spregnutu plazmu (ICP-MS). Uzorci su prethodno razoreni u smjesi dušične kiseline i vodikovog peroksida u uređaju za mikrovalno potpomognuto razaranje. Nakon optimiranja metode za pripravu uzorka, metodom ICP-AES i ICP-MS određen je sadržaj elemenata: Ag, Al, B, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, V i Zn. Sadržaj makro- i mikroelemenata u cvjetovima japanskih trešanja razlikuje se u biljkama različite starosti i staništa. Elemental analyses of medical plant Japanese cherry blossoms (C. Yedoensis L.) was determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The samples were digested using a mixture of nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide peroxide in a microwave digestion system. After optimizing the method, the content of elements Ag, Al, B, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, V and Zn was determined. The content of macro- and microelements differs in the samples of cherry blossoms according to age and sampling place.
