Popis: The work provides a methodological approach to the formulation of innovative conservation strategy. This approach is based on three main aspects: the value-in use-based perspective and its focus on users as value-co-creators; the proposition of model of planning to define, evaluate, improve and adapt the conservative strategy in a continual improvement process based on wide users’ participation; the identification of tools and practice that allow users’ engagement and commitment. Innovative conservation of historic districts is seen as defining new forms of use that can create value for users in line with their values.
