Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is the process of feeding the patient through a tube directly into the stomach. This raises the patients who disabled the normal time eating some diseases, obstruction, damaged act of swallowing, malignancy ... There are several methods, and today has a wide application in PEG. It is technically relatively simple and rapid method, which does not require general anesthesia, thus avoiding the often difficult intubation, and the patient is eligible for its comfort and less possibilities of complications. In general hospital Virovitica where the research was done from 7 months 2012 years to 2016 years 7 months raised the percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy fifteen. The aim of the research was to determine which are the most common indications for appointment of PEG, which is the age group most often a need for PEG and the total number of patients to calculate how many were men and how many women are subjected to the method of setting PEG. Sources that were used during this study was written records clinic for endoscopy General Hospital Virovitica. Record write nurses / technicians after every surgery. Entered the general data about the patient (name, age), indications for PEG placement of the probe, following the agreed date of control and evaluation.
