Possibility of applying the hybrid system 'Small hydroelectric power plant - solar photovoltaic power plant' on the example of the rivers Bednja and Česma

Popis: U diplomskom radu prikazana je mogućnost proizvodnje električne energije iz hibridnih sustava koji se sastoje od male hidroelektrane i solarne fotonaponske elektrane. Opisane su teoretske pretpostavke o malim hidroelektranama i solarnim fotonaponskim elektranama. Analiziraju se lokacije rijeke Česme kod naselja Narta i rijeke Bednje u gradu Ludbreg. Analiziraju se potencijal hibridnih sustava, izračunate su snage solarnih fotonaponskih sustava i malih hidroelektrana te količina proizvedene električne energije. Izračun proizvodnje električne energije solarnih fotonaponskih elektrana obje lokacije izvršilo se pomoću računalnog programa PVGIS. Izvršen je detaljan opis pozicija, veličina, vrste solarnih panela, učinkovitosti solarnih fotonaponskih elektrana te njhove kombinacije s malim hidroelektranama s proračunom potrebne snage turbine. Iskazani su prihodi uslijed prodaje proizvedene električne energije oba sustava, kapitalni troškovi investicije i povratni period investicije pojedinih postrojenja. The thesis presents the possibility of producing electricity from hybrid systems consisting of a small hydroelectric power plant and a solar photovoltaic power plant. Theoretical assumptions about small hydroelectric and solar photovoltaic power plants are described. The locations of the Česma river near Narta and the river Bednja near the city of Ludbreg are analyzed. The potential of hybrid systems is analysed, and the power of solar photovoltaic systems and small hydropower plants and the amount of electricity produced is calculated. The calculation of the electricity production of the solar photovoltaic power plants of both locations was carried out using the PVGIS computer program. A detailed description of the position, size, type of solar panels, the efficiency of solar photovoltaic power plant,s and their combination with small hydroelectric power plants with the calculation of the required power of the turbine was describeded in detail. Revenue from the sale of electricity produced by both systems is shown, as well as capital investment costs and the payback period of individual plants.
