In small children and infants, RSV infection is common, which is very common in this age group, i.e. the most common cause of bronchilitis and pneumonia. The RSV season lasts from November to April and during this period it is necessary to carry out additional prevention which helps control and spread the virus. In children born prematurely or having heart problems, RSV infections may even result in death. The side effect of coated RSV is dry cough, which occurs as a reaction to stimulation in excessively high sensitivity of the mucous membranes of bronchi. Physiotherapeutic procedures for bronchiolitis infection are presented in the paper, as well as the role of physical therapist and parental education.
