Popis: This article analyses the state of language training in Italy and in Europe, highlighting some of the critical issues arising in the Italian system, starting with the lack of an organic strategy for creating curricula and training foreign language teachers. The CLIL methodology, as proposed in secondary schools and Italian universities, is considered and an attempt is made to clarify some misunderstandings that make it difficult to apply correctly
