Popis:	This paper focuses on an experience of cooperation between the University of Palermo (along with the Universities of Catania and Messina) and the Department of Cultural Heritage, Natural Heritage and Public Education of the Regional Government that took place in Sicily (Italy) at the end of 1970s. A model of good practice based on the relationship “culture and development” that allows us to evaluate the short, medium and long-term effects of this approach on our territory looking at the domain of cultural heritage.
