The first issue concerns source of these liturgical inspirations. They are the fruit of many years of the playwright's creative search and of his personal experience with the sacrum. The next part of the reflection concerns the role that these liturgical inspirations play within the drama itself. Particularly noteworthy is the universalization of the events presented in the play - through the constant presence of the liturgy, the life of the characters in a mystical way takes on a spiritual and metaphysical dimension.
