Popis: The case of a young patient with social phobia and obsessive-compulsive disorder is analysed. A lot of complicated symptoms started from a very young age (around the first year of life) and made slow but active progress. The patient stopped attending school at the age of fourteen. Since then he stayed at home and is totally inactive in a social sense. The complex therapy started six months ago and included cognitive- behavioural - systemic therapy with venlafaxine (150 mg per day) pharmacotherapy. The patient is much better, but he still neither speaks, nor is socially more active.
