Popis: | This work presents a novel ontology-based approach for the complementation of technical specifications of cyber-physical system components using ontological classification and reasoning. We build on the AutomationML standard and outline how data represented with it can be transformed into an RDF instance graph. We exemplarily show how complementary information about a component’s functionality, its operation environment and purpose can be inferred through a combination of automatic classification with the linkage of different domain classification systems. The general applicability of the presented approach is demonstrated by a concrete use case from the ReApp project. |
