Upravljanje mestnih gozdov terja intenzivnejšo participacijo in uveljavljanje dodatnih metod za vključevanje javnosti v soodločanje o rabi gozdov. V okviru projekta URBforDAN smo s spletno anketo (n=1134) zbrali podatke o uporabnikih mestnega gozda Golovec. Preverjali smo njihovo oddaljenost od Golovca, način prihoda, pogostost in trajanje obiska, najpogostejšo točko vstopa v gozd ter želje o dodatni infrastrukturi. Glede na razlog obiska smo anketirance združevali v skupine in nadaljnje analize izvedli po skupinah uporabnikov (naštete po številčnosti: gorski kolesarji, pohodniki, družine, tekači, kolesarji, sprehajalci domačih živali in drugi). Ugotovili smo, da skoraj 60 % anketirancev obišče Golovec vsaj enkrat na teden, najpogosteje obisk traja 1 do 2 uri. Do gozda večina anketirancev pride peš ali s kolesom, več kot četrtina anketirancev se pripelje z avtomobilom. Največ anketirancev vstopi na Golovec na zahodnem delu (vstopna točka Center Hradeckega). Skupine uporabnikov vstopajo na Golovec različno: na Poligonu Rudnik, bolj odročnem delu Golovca, vstopa največ gorskih kolesarjev, v Štepanjskem naselju največ družin. Skupine uporabnikov se razlikujejo tudi po načinu prihoda v gozd: raba avtomobila in javnega potniškega prometa je najpogostejša pri družinah. Razlike med skupinami so tudi v pričakovanjih do gozda in želeni dodatni infrastrukturi. Rezultati ankete so podlaga za načrtovanje infrastrukture, usmerjanje uporabnikov in urejanje vstopnih točk na Golovec in so bili vključeni v Strateški in Operativni načrt za mestni gozd Golovec. Managing urban forests requires more intensive participation and implementation of additional methods for including the public in the co-decision on forest use. In the framework of the URBforDAN project, we acquired the data on the visitors of the Golovec urban forest using a net survey (n=1134). We surveyed their distance to Golovec, their manner of coming, frequency and duration of their visit, the most common entry point into the wood, and their wishes concerning additional infrastructure. Regarding the reason for their visit, we combined the respondents into groups and performed further analyses by the visitor groups (listed by the numerousness: mountain cyclists, hikers, families, joggers, cyclists, dog walkers, and others). We found that almost 60 % of the responders visited Golovec at least once per week, most frequently the visit took 1 to 2 hours. Most visitors come to the forest by foot or bicycle, over a fourth of the respondent arrive by car. The majority enters Golovec on its west side (entry point Center Hradeckega). The visitor groups enter Golovec diversely: the most mountain cyclists start at the Poligon Rudnik, a more remote part of Golovec, the most families in Štepanjsko naselje. The visitor groups also differ regarding the manner of coming into the wood: families most often use car or public transport. The differences between the groups are also found in their expectations from the forest and the required additional infrastructure. The survey results represent the basis for infrastructure planning, directing the visitors, and establishing entry points to Golovec and were incorporated into the Strategic and Operational Plan for the Golovec Urban Forest. |
