Lepljenje materialov je vedno bolj pogosta alternativa konvencionalnim metodam spajanja materialov zaradi cenovne dostopnosti in enostavnosti postopka. V nalogi smo pokazali relacijo med pripravo površine z laserskim graviranjem in trdnostjo lepljenih spojev. Preizkusili smo več geometrijskih oblik laserske gravure in preizkusili lepljene spoje na natezni test. Adhesive bonding of materials is an increasingly common alternative to conventional material joining methods, due to its affordability and ease of use. In this thesis we show the relation between surface preparation by laser engraving and the strength of bonded joints. Several geometries of laser engraving have been tested and bonded joints have been subjected to tensile tests. We have limited ourselves to single overlap adhesive bonded joints. We found that the surface with the laser engraved texture withstands a higher failure force than the surface without the laser engraved texture. We also checked the wettability of the texture geometries and the effect of surface oxidation on the wetting angle measurements. We used the static wetting angle measurement method. The failure mechanisms of each geometry were analyzed and the results were compared with the tensile test results. We found that in some cases the proportion of cohesive failure is related to the strength of the joint. |
