Youth employment as a highly complex area was examined in the Master's thesis through the prism of contemporary social factors. Special focus was on the impact of sustainable development as an overarching trend in the development of society. We were interested in what influences the employment of young jobseekers and what affects their position and employability on the labour market. In doing so, we considered the current social and economic context and sought to shed light on the employment opportunities for this segment of the working population. Youth employment has been a pressing issue for a long time and is even deepening with new economic and social challenges. But new opportunities, trends, and forms of work are emerging that are close to young people. Although they represent a vulnerable social category in the labour market, the emergence of new trends and the transition of society in the light of the new technological and digital revolution are changing employers' requirements and demands. Possessing modern skills and ability to be more flexible and mobile makes young people more competitive in the labour market. Shifts in education and the comprehensive support and strategic guidance of young people by the state are, therefore, also crucial for the future of this field. |
