Rezultate anketnega vprašalnika smo obdelali v statističnem programu IBM SPSS 25 (SPSS Inc., Armonk, New York, ZDA). The purpose of this master’s thesis paper is to find out what are the differences and the influences of sport workouts on land and in water for pregnant women. We were interested to see what kind of an influence does the type of a workout have on the psychological wellbeing and the troubles that come during the pregnancy. Another purpose of this paper is to find a connection between the type of a workout, the level of education and the price and the location of it. The research included 72 pregnant women, who regularly visited sport workouts designed for them. 33 of them visited workouts on land and 39 visited workouts in water. The respondents were between 21 and 40 years old. All of them filled in a questionnaire that was designed in an online program Enka. The results of the questionnaire were analysed in a statistical program IBM SPSS 25 (SPSS Inc., Armonk, New York, USA). A chi-squared test, Fisher’s exact test and Mann-Whitney's test were used for statistical analysis. It was found out that the level of education does not have a special influence on the type of a workout pregnant women chose. It was seen that no troubles arose during the workouts of either type. It was found out that regardless of the type of a workout, 44% of troubles disappeared during pregnancy. There were also no differences in the psychological wellbeing of women between the two types of a workout. It was noticed that the levels of positive emotions were slightly higher with pregnant women who worked out on land. Statistically known differences were noticed in the reasons for visiting either type of a workout. Pregnant women who work out in the water put an extra emphasis on the type of a workout. Meanwhile, women who work out on land put more emphasis on the closeness of the workout facility. The results for both groups showed that the most important thing to them is the quality of a workout. The research found out that the type of a workout is not so important for the pregnant women and it does not have any special effect on them. Most important is that they are physically active and that they feel good during a workout.
