One of the challenges, associated with using 3D printed products, is determining their fatigue life. The master’s thesis presents a way to obtain material fatigue parameters (Wohler curve) using a simple and fast vibration excitation test with a random signal. The procedure is based on a comparison of experimental and theoretical fatigue lives, determined from a numerical model with frequency counting methods. The analyzed samples differed in color, print direction and dimension. From the results, the influence of different properties of the samples was identified and the procedure for determining the material properties was successfully confirmed. |
