Namen diplomske naloge je priprava novih tipov vonjav iz geraniola, 3-fenil-1-propanola in timola ter nabora kislin in kislinskih kloridov. Zanimalo nas je, kakšne so in kako se spremenijo olfaktorne lastnosti teh estrov v primerjavi z dišavnimi alkoholi in kislinami, iz katerih so bili sintetizirani. Sintetizirane spojine pa smo tudi fizikalno-kemijsko in spektroskopsko karakterizirali ter primerjali te lastnosti z izhodnimi alkoholi in kislinami oziroma kislinskimi kloridi. The purpose of our thesis was to synthesize new types of fragrances, namely geraniol, 3-phenyl-1-propanol, thymol and a set of acid and acid chlorides. We were interested in the appearance of new fragrances and how the olfactory properties of these newly synthesized esters differed from fragrant alcohols and carboxylic acids, which they were made of. New esters were physically, chemically and spectroscopically characterized and fragrances will be compared to alcohols and acids or their acid chlorides. |
