Razlike srčnega utripa in povezanost z občutenim naporom med testi hoje, vstajanjem s stola in korakanjem na mestu pri ljudeh po možganski kapi

Popis: Uvod: Zmanjšana vzdržljivost srčno-dihalnega sistema pri ljudeh po možganski kapi omejuje njihove sposobnosti za izvajanje vsakodnevnih dejavnosti. Namen: ugotoviti razlike v odzivu srčnega utripa in občutenem naporu ter njuno povezanost med različnimi funkcijskimi testi pri ljudeh po možganski kapi. Metode: Sodelovalo je devet preiskovancev v kroničnem obdobju po možganski kapi, pri katerih smo v treh časovnih točkah merili srčni utrip pri posameznem testu: pri testu hoje na 10 metrov, pri 6-minutnem testu hoje, testu hoje po stopnicah, testu petih vstajanj in 2-minutnem testu korakanja. Po vsakem testu so preiskovanci ocenili občuteni napor na Borgovi lestvici. Rezultati: Srčni utrip je bil med 6-minutnim testom hoje in 2-minutnim testom korakanja statistično značilno višji kot med testom hoje na 10 metrov in testom petih vstajanj. Med prvima dvema testoma v dveh časovnih točkah ni bilo statistično značilnih razlik. Podobne razlike med funkcijskimi testi smo ugotovili tudi za občuteni napor. Vendar pa povezanosti med srčnim utripom, oceno občutenega napora in izidi testov večinoma nismo ugotovili. Zaključki: Odziv srčnega utripa je najvišji pri 6-minutnem testu hoje in 2-minutnem testu korakanja. Za določanje intenzivnosti telesne dejavnosti po možganski kapi je priporočena uporaba merilcev srčnega utripa. Background: decreased cardio-vascular endurance in people after stroke limits their abilities in activities of daily living. Purpose: To determine the differences in heart rate response, rating of perceived exertion, and their relationship during various functional tests at three time points in people after stroke. Methods: Nine participants in the chronic stage after stroke were included. At the three time points, heart rate was recorded for each test: 10-metre walk test, six-minute walk test, stair climbing test, five times sit-to-stand test, and 2-minute step test. After each test, perceived exertion was rated using the Borg scale. Results: Heart rate was statistically significantly higher during the six-minute walk test and 2-minute step test than during the 10-metre walk test and five times sit-to-stand test. At two time points, there was no statistically significant difference between the first two tests. Similar differences between functional tests were also found in ratings of perceived exertion. However, mostly no correlations were found between heart rate, perceived exertion ratings, and functional tests outcomes. Conclusions: Heart rate response is the highest for the six minute walk test and the 2-minute step test. The use of heart rate monitors is recommended to determine physical activity/training intensity.
