V diplomski nalogi sem se ukvarjala z ustvarjanjem serije risb in kolažev in ilustracije po besedilni predlogi. Za izhodišče pri iskanju besedilne predloge sem izbrala poezijo in kratko prozo mlajše generacije slovenskih avtorjev. In my bachelor’s thesis, I was involved in creating a series of drawings, collages, and illustrations based on a text template. I chose poetry and short prose from the younger generation of Slovenian authors as a starting point in my search for a textual proposal. I researched the texts and, at the same time, my artistic language which I developed according to the selected textual proposals. In the theoretical part of the bachelor’s thesis, I dealt with a historical review of illustration in connection with poetry and illustrated editions of poetry for adults, as well as with the definition, history, and visual characteristics of visual and concrete poetry. I also researched the format and medium of the art zine, its definition, position in fine art, and the environment in which it is created. In the practical part of the assignment, I formed visual images and visually presented selected poems collected in the form of a zine. I dealt with the connection between illustration and poetry and their artistic power and realized that they can stand on their own. Combined, however, they complement each other even more. |
