In this project, we are evaluating and optimizing a Kubernetes deployment in the environment of AWS Cloud, applying cloud best practices. Starting from AWS base recommendations, we are identifying and proposing fixes to potential weak points of a real-world cloud infrastructure hosting a distributed Kubernetes deployment, used by a cybersecurity company to deploy the core of a product to monitor security events within businesses' technological assets, providing SoC related services. This project reviews the most important points to consider when deploying in the cloud, in a generic way, setting a framework for production-ready application deployments, exportable to other companies. As an example, we are describing the experience of a real world company, during the development of its own cloud native product. |
