The research results show that digital transformation is subject to continuous and fast development not only on the technological level but also in terms of managerial, organizational, structural and human matters. It is clear that digital transformation is a success factor for companies in the future, but the intensity and development speed are highly specific to the business environment a company operates in. Even though the challenge of realizing the digital transformation can be analyzed and described with traditional change methods, decision makers must not act with a yesterdays logic.
