Popis: Islam is not just a religion in the strictest meaning of the term, but a comprehensive way of life that encompasses all aspects of life. One of the main objectives of the Islamic law (Maqasid al-Shari'ah) is to establish a human society where peace, cooperation, solidarity and justice should prevail and where war, exploitation and injustice should end. In other words, the objectives of the Islamic law (Maqasid al-Shari'ah), as suggested byAI-Ghazali (1937) and later developed byAI-Shatibi (1996), Al-’lzz ibn Abd al-Salam (1999), Ibn Qayyim al-Jawiziyyah (1973) and Muhammad Al- Tahir ibn Ashur (2001) and others, are the promotion of the well-being of all people by safeguarding the life, the faith, the intellect, the progeny and the property (wealth) of each member of the community. In this context, Islam prohibits all injurious, harmful and unjust institutionsand encourages the establishment of any beneficial institution that would promote the well-being and welfare of people as long as it operates within the limits of the Shari'ah and does not contravene any of the prohibited transactions...
