To evaluate short-term effects of intranasal hormone replacement therapy (HRT) on hemostatic system and serum lipid levels in healthy postmenopausal women. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This prospective, controlled study included 52 healthy postmenopausal women. A total of 32 women were received intranasal 17-beta estradiol (17P-E2) 300 pg/day plus continuous medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) for three months. Remaining 20 women did not used any HRT regimens.
