В статье раскрывается методика изучения площади геометрической фигуры на уроках геометрии. Special attention is paid to the formation of ideas and concepts about the area of a geometric shape and the units of its measurement. The article argues that there is a connection between the level of acquisition of concepts formed at mathematics lessons and their application in practical and professional activity.
