No. of bitstreams: 1 ANDRE LUIS BONI D?O.pdf: 3329411 bytes, checksum: a1b64ea362f30f46b48c678fc9760d1a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2018-12-11 Pontif?cia Universidade Cat?lica de Campinas - PUC Campinas The purpose of this work is to present a reference model for the creation of Internet of Things applications, considering all the levels necessary for the creation of this type of solution. The main focus is to create an architecture using only Open Source solutions, benchmarked by the reference model. The approach aims to serve small and mediumsized enterprises that do not have the resources to invest in costly solutions, that will be marketed and supported by large companies. Several paradigms about the adoption of IoT solutions were analyzed, among which the lack of clarity of large manufacturers stands out, of which IoT is a plug n 'play solution, not being the reality found in the case studies carried out. It was sought throughout the work to combat this segmented view, at the same time that it was aimed to demonstrate that to succeed in the development of a platform, it is necessary to understand that IoT solutions, necessarily, need management, since no solution is perennial, infallible, or the proof of human action. Case studies were implemented, which allowed the evaluation and testing of the reference model, arriving at a six-level structure necessary for the creation of a IoT application. The results demonstrated the feasibility of the model in the implementation in different scenarios. |
