These vegetables have attracted interest because of their wealth, mainly in tropical and subtropical forests. This study is focused on this important group of plants. The work is divided into three chapters and has as general objectives: introduce a scientometric review and analysis of vascular epiphytes in Atlantic Forest; gather information on the vascular epiphytes flora of the Parque Natural Municipal Curi? Paracambi and evaluating the influence of the characteristics of phorophytes on the distribution of vascular epiphytes. On the first chapter introduce an analysis of studies published between 1990 and 2015 showing the increase in production on the subject, but still slowly with concentrated studies in areas of the South and Southeast of Brazil. The category of articles is the most important in terms of production. In the second chapter the results showed the log of 43 species of vascular epiphytes distributed in 25 genera and 12 families, of which Polypodiaceae (10 ssp), Bromeliaceae (10 ssp) and Araceae (10 ssp) are the richest. The epiphytic flora similarity of the unit is very low compared to other studies developed in the same plant training areas. Half of the species is holoep?fita dispersion characteristic and prevalent syndrome was zoochory. Regarding the risk of extinction of any species recorded included the National Official Species of Flora Endangered (Portaria no. 443 de 17/12/2014). For the third chapter it was observed that the different categories of cortical morphology were not associated with the colonization of phorophytes by vascular epiphytes.As for the correlation between dendrometric parameters of tree species with and without vascular epiphytes it found that those directly correlated to the presence of epiphytes were: total height, DAP and the depth of the crown and the surface of the shaft inverse correlation to the presence vascular epiphytes. As ep?fitas s?o vegetais que se desenvolvem sobre outras plantas, sem causar danos aos seus hospedeiros. Estes vegetais t?m despertado o interesse crescente em fun??o de sua riqueza, principalmente em florestas tropicais e subtropicais. O presente estudo est? focado neste importante grupo de vegetais. O trabalho est? estruturado em tr?s cap?tulos e tem como objetivos gerais: apresentar uma revis?o e an?lise cienciom?trica sobre ep?fitas vasculares em Floresta Atl?ntica; levantar informa??es sobre a flora epif?tica vascular do Parque Natural Municipal Curi? Paracambi (PNMC) (RJ) e avaliar a influ?ncia das caracter?sticas dos for?fitos sobre a distribui??o das ep?fitas vasculares do PNMC. Em rela??o ao primeiro cap?tulo ? apresentada uma an?lise dos estudos publicados no per?odo compreendido entre 1990 e 2015 mostrando o aumento na produ??o sobre o tema, por?m de forma ainda lenta, com estudos concentrados em ?reas do Sul e Sudeste do Brasil. A categoria dos artigos ? a mais relevante em termos de produ??o. No segundo cap?tulo os resultados apontaram o registro de 43 esp?cies de ep?fitas vasculares distribu?das em 25 g?neros e 12 fam?lias, das quais Polypodiaceae (10 ssp), Bromeliaceae (10ssp) e Araceae (10ssp) s?o as mais ricas. A similaridade flor?stica epif?tica da unidade ? bem reduzida em rela??o a outros estudos desenvolvidos em ?reas de mesma forma??o vegetal. Metade das esp?cies ? holoep?fita caracter?stica e a s?ndrome de dispers?o prevalente foi a zoocoria. Em rela??o ao risco de extin??o, nenhuma das esp?cies registradas constou da Lista Nacional Oficial de Esp?cies da Flora Amea?adas de Extin??o (Portaria no. 443 de 17/12/2014). Para o terceiro cap?tulo observou-se que as diferentes categorias de morfologia cortical n?o apresentaram rela??o com a coloniza??o dos for?fitos por ep?fitas vasculares. Quanto ? correla??o entre os par?metros dendrom?tricos das esp?cies arb?reas com presen?a e aus?ncia de ep?fitas vasculares verificou-se que ?queles correlacionados diretamente ? presen?a das ep?fitas foram: a altura total, o DAP e a profundidade da copa e a superf?cie do fuste correla??o inversa ? presen?a de ep?fitas vasculares.
