O discurso é abordado como objeto das disputas para a construção de narrativas na mídia social, enquanto forma de poder, conforme os ensinamentos de Foucault (2014; 2019), Fairclough (2012; 2016), Castells (2009), Bourdieu (2001), Van Djik (2018), Recuero (2012), Herring (2001), Tiburi (2017) e Motta (2013). As características da mídia social, que influenciam nas disputas discursivas são exploradas com base em Recuero (2009), Boyd e Ellison (2007), Boyd (2010), D'Andréa (2017; 2018) e Pariser (2012). A metodologia para análise da disputa discursiva é proposta a partir da visão tridimensional do discurso (FAIRCLOUGH, 2012; 2016), com as seguintes categorias de análise: na camada do texto, estrutura da mensagem, usos da hashtag e multimodalidade; na prática discursiva, posição do sujeito, estratégias discursivas e propriedades da mídia social; e na prática social, narrativas construídas. Os resultados de análise sugerem que as disputas discursivas na mídia social têm sentido ampliado pelas hashtags; são protagonizadas por atores legitimados de formas diversas; são um momento de construção identitária dos sujeitos; são multimodais; têm distribuição complexa; são influenciadas pelos algoritmos; são desiguais; podem construir diálogo; baseiam-se em pressupostos e metadiscursos; subvertem ordens do discurso; são propícias ao espalhamento da desinformação; são influenciadas pela polarização política e constroem múltiplas narrativas. This research was developed with the objective of elucidating how discursive disputes on social media take place, based on the analysis of a set of conversations that constructed opposite narratives about the Military Coup of 1964 in Brazil on Twitter. The discourse is approached as the object of disputes for the construction of narratives on social media, as a form of power, according to the teachings of Foucault (2014; 2019), Fairclough (2012; 2016), Castells (2009), Bourdieu (2001), Van Djik (2018) , Recuero (2012), Herring (2001), Tiburi (2017) and Motta (2013). The characteristics of social media, which influence discursive disputes, are explored based on Recuero (2009), Boyd and Ellison (2007), Boyd (2010), D'Andréa (2017; 2018) and Pariser (2012). The methodology for analyzing the discursive dispute is proposed from the three-dimensional view of the discourse (FAIRCLOUGH, 2012; 2016), with the following categories of analysis: in the text layer, message structure, uses of the hashtag and multimodality; in discursive practice, subject's position, discursive strategies and social media properties; and in social practice, constructed narratives. The analysis results suggest that discursive disputes on social media have been amplified by hashtags; they are carried out by actors legitimized in different ways; they are a moment of identity construction for the subjects; they are multimodal; have complex distribution; are influenced by the algorithms; they are unequal; they can build dialogue; they are based on assumptions and metadiscourses; subvert orders of discourse; they are conducive to the spread of misinformation; they are influenced by political polarization and build multiple narratives. |
