This study followed a theoretical, documentary, quantitative and qualitative analysis character, carried out through the comparison and observation of the data between 2013-2016, through defined criteria and whose evaluation results were published in the Sucupira Platform in 2017. The main objective of the research was to highlight the importance of the Program in the Area of Education and Management in view of the national panorama of Brazilian education, compared to the CAPES Evaluation Report in 2017, referring to the four-year period 2013-2016. The first phase of the research consisted of a documentary theoretical study through the basic authors and through the data examination provided to the CAPES Evaluation Report, obtained at the PPGEA secretariat. In the second phase, comparative and percentage studies were conducted through the construction of tables and numerical tables expressing potential and qualitative results referring to the four-year evaluation in 2017. Through these parameters, it was concluded that PPGEA has been achieving its quality and development goals in graduate studies, highlighting its pedagogical proposals, especially the pedagogy of alternation, used in the teaching and training of masters and for its national expansion strategy, mainly within the limits of the Midwest and Northern regions of Brazil, offering opportunities for specialization and professional qualification for working classes in meeting the main goals of the Plan National Graduate School Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo de estudo cient?fico, o processo de avalia??o realizada pela Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal do Ensino Superior (CAPES) junto ao Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Educa??o Agr?cola (PPGEA) da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) e sua atua??o na qualidade do ensino p?blico brasileiro. Esse estudo seguiu um car?ter de an?lise te?rica, documental, quantitativo e qualitativo, realizado por meio da compara??o e observa??o dos dados entre os anos de 2013-2016, por meio de crit?rios definidos e cujos resultados da avalia??o foram publicados na Plataforma Sucupira em 2017. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi destacar a import?ncia do Programa na ?rea de Educa??o e Gest?o frente ao panorama nacional do ensino brasileiro, em compara??o ao Relat?rio de Avalia??o da CAPES em 2017, referente ao quadri?nio 2013-2016. A primeira fase da pesquisa constituiu-se de estudo te?rico documental por meio dos autores de base e atrav?s do exame de dados fornecidos ao Relat?rio de Avalia??o da CAPES, obtidos na secretaria do PPGEA. Na segunda fase, foram realizados estudos comparativos e percentuais por meio da constru??o de tabelas e quadros num?ricos expressando resultados potenciais e qualitativos referentes ao quadri?nio da avalia??o em 2017. Atrav?s desses par?metros, concluiu-se que o PPGEA vem alcan?ando seus objetivos de qualidade e desenvolvimento na P?s-Gradua??o, destacando-se por suas propostas pedag?gicas, em especial a pedagogia de altern?ncia, utilizadas no ensino e forma??o de mestres e por sua estrat?gia de expans?o nacional, principalmente nos limites das regi?es Centro Oeste e Norte do Brasil, oferecendo oportunidade de especializa??o e qualifica??o profissional para as classes trabalhadoras em cumprimento das metas principais do Plano Nacional de P?s-Gradua??o
