In this way, environmental enrichment can be an alternative to mitigate the effects of these climate changes on fish behavior. Thus, specimens of Apistogramma gibbiceps were grouped for six hours in six experimental treatments (n = 12), resulting from the combination of three climatic scenarios (drastic, intermediate and control) and two environments (enriched and not enriched). The latency to fighting and the frequency of the aggressive interaction exhibited by the group, dominant and subordinate were evaluated. The increase in temperature and CO2 in the environment stimulates motivation and aggressive interaction in all social ranks. However, physical enrichment increases the latency to fighting regardless of the environmental condition. Thus, the use of stimuli and/or resources in the environment can be suggested to mitigate the effects of climate changes and, consequently, contribute for better conditions of welfare for Amazonian species. Os impactos causados pelo aquecimento do clima global nos ambientes amaz??nicos s??o preocupantes, pois podem afetar diretamente a biodiversidade e os ecossistemas aqu??ticos. Dentro deste contexto, o enriquecimento ambiental pode ser uma alternativa para mitigar os efeitos dessas mudan??as clim??ticas sobre o comportamento de peixes. Assim, esp??cimes de Apistogramma gibbiceps foram agrupados por seis horas em seis tratamentos experimentais (n=12), resultantes da combina????o de tr??s cen??rios clim??ticos (dr??stico, intermedi??rio e controle) e dois ambientes (enriquecido e n??o enriquecido). Foi avaliada a lat??ncia para os confrontos e a frequ??ncia da intera????o agressiva exibida pelo grupo, dominante e submissos. O aumento da temperatura e de CO2 no ambiente estimula a motiva????o e a intera????o agressiva em todas as posi????es sociais. J?? o enriquecimento f??sico aumenta a lat??ncia para os confrontos independente da condi????o ambiental. Assim, o uso de est??mulos e/ou recursos no ambiente pode ser sugerido para mitigar os efeitos das mudan??as clim??ticas e, consequentemente, contribuir para melhores condi????es de bem-estar para as esp??cies amaz??nicas.
