Popis: | The study was carried out with the aim to verify the influence of the phenotype on the non-constituent components of the carcass of Corriedale lambs white and natural colored. The 29 lambs were used castrated males, from simple birth, from two phenotypes (13 natural colored and 16 whites), created in the Pampa Biome region, in Rio Grande do Sul State, in extensive system under natural pasture improved with ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum), birds foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) and white clover (Trifolium repens), and slaughtered with the average of 18 months of age. The body weight at slaughter and the weight of non-constituents of carcass were measured: spleen, liver with gallbladder, heart, lung with trachea, kidneys with perirenal fat, full green viscera (gastrointestinal complex and content), skin, head, paws, internal fat and bladder, calculating their percentages in relation to body weight at slaughter.
