| Popis: | The objective was to evaluate diets containing different inclusion levels of inert palm fat as a feed supplement on nu- trient intake and biochemical parameters of developing goats. Sixteen kids (Anglo Nubian x Saanen) with a mean age of 60 days and a live weight of 18.66 kg were used. The diet consisted of sorghum silage and fat included concentrate. Each proportion of inclusion consisted of a dietary treatment: 0; 25; 50 and 75 Grams/animal day of EnerFAT®. The animals were fed at 08h and 16h with diets formulated following NRC (2007) recommendations. Blood was collected by jugular venipuncture using vacutainer® tubes with clot activator. The concentrations of energy metabolites, protein and liver enzymes were evaluated. The experiment was conducted in an entirely randomized design with repeated measures in time.
