No. of bitstreams: 1 2019 - Ana Marta Chacon Ferreira.pdf: 2171818 bytes, checksum: 96a79d5efce769e5cf8f8356df901a2a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2019-03-25 CAPES - Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior Agriculture in the mountainous environments of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and Alpa Corral (C?rdoba - Argentina) can benefit from actions that enable agroecological alternatives. For this, it is necessary to understand the territories. It begins with the understanding of the concepts involved in agroecosystems and the hypothesis that their description by diagramming facilitates the visualization of the information related to the economic and technical management of the family units of production. These are technological proposals that favor the agroecological transition with emphasis on participatory management, accompanied by comparisons about actions and methodologies that enable and encourage the implementation and conduction of agroecological projects in mountain environments of the Serrana Fluminense and the Region of Alpa Corral. The methodological basis was the modeling of agroecosystems. In order to accomplish this task, flow diagrams of agroecosystems, including technical and ecological system - represented by input and output diagram, economic system and monetary and non-monetaryincomes were established. By the establishment of these flows in agroecological production units, conventional and in transition, the analysis of these agroecosystems was carried out, in order to identify socioeconomic aspects that contribute to the sustainability of these environments. In the Social Agroecosystems Management Nuclei analyzed factors that conditioned changes in the agroecosystems external context as market and access policies were identified. The agroecosystems studied presented differences in their complexity, such as the presence of women in the most complex systems and the environmental and economic vulnerability in the most simplified systems.
