Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas The study addresses the topic of research with human beings, with emphasis on ethical rationality, an object of study centered on the relationship between subject and object in the process of knowledge construction. In science there is a theory of knowledge, with three traditional possibilities, namely: objective of knowledge; the subject who knows and knowledge as a product of the cognitive process between subject and object. Not differently, in social work, knowing reality is an objective, but how is the subject and object relationship processed in social research? In this sense, this study has the general objective of analyzing the subject and object relationship from the perspective of ethics in research carried out with human beings by students of the Postgraduate Program in Social Work and Sustainability in the Amazon (PPGSS) of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Based on this guideline, we outlined the following specific objectives: to verify the panorama of research themes in the dissertations in order to perceive the incidence of debates and the contribution of social workers at the postgraduate level to society; to highlight the ethical values manifested in the choice of the object in the dissertations that involved research with human beings and to identify the ethical requirements of the object/human beings of the research in the dissertations. For this, this work adopted the dialectical historical materialism method, built on the critical-analytical perspective with a mixed, qualitative and quantitative methodological approach. From the point of view of the objectives of the study, we chose to investigate the type of exploratory research; the type of document design, given that the sources are PPGSS dissertations. Finally, it is a basic research regarding the classification as to its nature. The textual analysis of data was a content analysis, and ethical care followed the legal parameters of the National Health Council-CNS, based on Resolution No. 466/2012 and Resolution No. 510/2016. In this way, the main results of this research are: the option for the Dialectical Historical Materialism method is significant in the researches in Social Work glimpsed in the PPGSS; women are the most frequent research participants, totaling 90.5%, revealing that they study women, despite not discussing gender; 67% of surveys are aimed exclusively at non-vulnerable participants; but in 33% of the studies the subjects belong to groups of vulnerable human beings, it is noteworthy that the particularities of vulnerable populations are incorporated in ethical regulations, but there are still invisibilities of these subjects in the daily life of scientific research in the academic field in relation to ethical care ; 33.3% of the dissertations analyzed, in addition to CNS Resolution No. 466/2012, are also based on ethical standards established in Resolution No. 510/2016, a resolution focused on Human and Social Sciences. Finally, the critical reflections made in this study point out some gaps regarding the ethical requirements in the PPGSS, however, very rich research in the scope of social work in the Amazon. O estudo aborda o tema pesquisa com seres humanos, com ??nfase racionalidade ??tica, um objeto de estudo centrado na rela????o entre sujeito e objeto no processo de constru????o do conhecimento. Na ci??ncia h?? uma teoria do conhecimento, com tr??s possibilidades tradicionais, a saber: objetivo do conhecimento; o sujeito que conhece e o conhecimento como produto do processo cognitivo entre sujeito e objeto. N??o diferentemente, no servi??o social conhecer a realidade constitui-se objetivo, mas como se processa a rela????o sujeito e objeto nas pesquisas sociais? Nesse sentido, este estudo tra??ou por objetivo geral analisar a rela????o sujeito e objeto sob o prisma da ??tica nas pesquisas realizadas com seres humanos por discentes do Programa de P??s-Gradua????o em Servi??o Social e Sustentabilidade na Amaz??nia (PPGSS) da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM). A partir desse eixo norteador, delineou-se os seguintes objetivos espec??ficos: verificar o panorama das tem??ticas da pesquisa nas disserta????es a fim de perceber a incid??ncia dos debates e a contribui????o de assistentes sociais em n??vel de p??s-gradua????o para sociedade; evidenciar os valores ??ticos manifestos na escolha do objeto nas disserta????es que envolveram pesquisa com seres humanos e identificar as exig??ncias ??ticas do objeto/seres humanos da pesquisa nas disserta????es. Para isso, este trabalho adotou como m??todo o materialismo hist??rico dial??tico, constru??do com base na perspectiva cr??tica-anal??tica com uma abordagem metodol??gica mista, qualitativa e quantitativa. Do ponto de vista dos objetivos do estudo, optou-se pela investiga????o do tipo de pesquisa explorat??ria; o tipo de delineamento documental, haja vista que as fontes s??o as disserta????es do PPGSS. Enfim, trata-se de uma pesquisa b??sica no que concerne ?? classifica????o quanto sua natureza. A an??lise textual de dados foi uma an??lise de conte??do, e, os cuidados ??ticos seguiram aos par??metros legais do Conselho Nacional de Sa??de-CNS, tendo como base a Resolu????o N?? 466/2012 e a Resolu????o N?? 510/2016. Desta maneira, os principais resultados desta pesquisa s??o: a op????o pelo m??todo Materialismo Hist??rico Dial??tico ?? significativa nas pesquisas em Servi??o Social vislumbradas no PPGSS; as mulheres s??o as participantes de pesquisa mais frequentes, totalizando 90,5%, revelando que, estuda sobre as mulheres, a despeito de n??o discutir sobre g??nero; 67% das pesquisas s??o direcionadas exclusivamente aos participantes n??o vulner??veis; mas em 33% das pesquisas os sujeitos pertencem aos grupos de seres humanos vulner??veis, ressalta-se, as particularidades das popula????es vulner??veis est??o incorporadas nas normativas ??ticas, mas ainda h?? invisibilidades desses sujeitos no cotidiano das pesquisas cient??ficas no ??mbito acad??mico em rela????o ao cuidado ??tico; 33,3%, das disserta????es analisadas, al??m da resolu????o CNS N?? 466/2012 tamb??m se fundamentam em normas ??ticas estabelecidas na Resolu????o N?? 510/2016, resolu????o voltada para Ci??ncias Humanas e Sociais. Por fim, as reflex??es cr??ticas tecidas neste estudo apontam algumas lacunas quanto ??s exig??ncias ??ticas no PPGSS, contudo, pesquisas riqu??ssimas no ??mbito do servi??o social na Amaz??nia.
