Evaluation of the delamination and resistance of the glue line of MLC elements based on ABNT NBR 7190: 2013 revision project considering reforestation wood treated with CCA and without preservative treatment

Este estudo avaliou os métodos de ensaio de delaminação e resistência da linha de cola propostos pelo projeto de revisão da norma brasileira de madeiras ABNT NBR 7190:1997. Foram considerados os métodos de ensaio ABNT NBR PN 02:126.10-001-5 e ABNT NBR ISO PN 02:126.10-001-3. Foram utilizados dois gêneros de madeiras (Pinus e Eucalipto), com e sem tratamento preservativo das lamelas com CCA e três tipos de adesivos (poliuretanas mono e bicomponente e resorcinol-formaldeído). Para os ensaios de delaminação e resistência da linha de cola, foram confeccionados os dispositivos necessários (autoclave e dispositivo para ensaio de cisalhamento da linha de cola). Os resultados de delaminação revelam que os valores médios obtidos para as combinações ERS (Eucalipto - Resina resorcinol-formaldeído - In natura), EBS (Eucalipto - Resina poliuretana bicomponente - In natura) e PRS (Pinus - Resina resorcinol-formaldeído - In natura) apresentaram valores dentro do aceitável de 4% pelo projeto de norma PN 02:126.10-0001- 5. Os resultados da análise estatística entre as linhas de cola mostraram que há diferença significativa entre as resistências médias ao cisalhamento. De modo geral, as combinações empregando Eucalipto apresentaram melhor desempenho que aquelas que empregaram Pinus. Glued Laminated Wood (GLT) is a promising alternative to the Brazilian construction market, industries have been looking for alternatives that improve the quality of their products through the wood species used, type of adhesive or manufacturing process. This study evaluated the glue line delamination and resistance test methods proposed by the ABNT NBR 7190: 1997 Brazilian wood standard review project. The test methods ABNT NBR PN 02: 126.10-001-5 and ABNT NBR ISO PN 02: 126.10-001-3 were considered. Two genera of wood (Pinus and Eucalyptus) were used, with and without wood preservative treatment with CCA and three types of adhesives (mono and bicomponent polyurethanes and resorcinol formaldehyde). For the glue line delamination and strength tests, the necessary devices were made (autoclave and glue line shear test device). The delamination results show that the mean values obtained for the combinations ERS (Eucalyptus - Resorcinolformaldehyde resin - In natura), EBS (Eucalyptus - Two-component polyurethane resin - In natura) and PRS (Pinus - Resorcinol-formaldehyde resin - In natura) presented values within the acceptable range of 4% by draft standard PN 02: 126.10-0001-5. The results of the statistical analysis between the glue lines showed that there is a significant difference between the average shear strengths. In general, combinations using Eucalyptus performed better than those using Pinus 88882.433457/2019-01
